Highlight of the year was definitely 45112 from Newtown to Edinburgh, and then on to the Forth Bridge at North Queensferry. The locomotive was in fine fettle, and the return run was lively.
Also visited where, Carlisle, Carmarthen, Chester, Haverfordwest, Leighton Buzzard, Madeley, Rugby and Shrewsbury.

Just Crewe to show for this year. I had a computer crash, resulting in the loss of somewhere near 2,500 pictures taken between 1996 and about the middle of 2006. A very painfull lesson learned, always back up your files. Still, atleast this was the year I decided to go "digital".

The only photographs this year are of D3265 at llangollen.
A set of detail shots for an "o" guage model I was making, so, should be very handy for some of you modellers.

The last of the "video years".
Not such a busy year, but the following locations where visited:-

80079 is also seen on the Cambrian line at Montgomery and again at Abermule.
The Foxfield gala was the usual spectacular event, with plenty of smoke and steam.

Another of the "video years". Pictures have again had to be "lifted" from video, so are not of good quality.
Plenty of "Slam door" stock this year, with a few trips to London:- Clapham Junction, Kings Cross, London Bridge, Purley, Wandsworth Road, Victoria and the "Waterloo & City" line.
Highlight of the year was a cab ride from london Bridge to Clapham Junction in 456016.
Other trips where made to Redhill, the "Bala Lake Railway", the "Gwili Railway", the "North Yorkshire Moors Railway", "Peak Rail", the "Teifi Valley Railway" and the "Welshpool & Llanfaircaereinion Railway".

A busy year for me, unfortunately captured on video, so, sorry for the poor image quality.
Highlight of the year had to be Shrewsbury open Day, but other highlights where, 44767 and 80079 seen at Croesyceiliog and Cynghordy. 46201 seen at Dorrington and Wooferton. 80079 and 80080 at Montgomery and Knucklas,4566 on the "Gwili Railway" and a "Jubilee" at Stokesay. Along with a trip to a Nottingham pub to see a "Peckett".
